I am a native of Albany, New York  and I received my B.A. in American Studies at Siena College in 2013 and my M.A. in History at the University at Albany in 2014. I am currently in my second year of the PhD program here at the University of Kentucky.  My concentration is the American Civil War and I am working with my advisor, Dr. Amy Taylor, on solidifying my dissertation topic. In the meantime, I am completing coursework and serving as a full time teaching assistant for HIS 108: U.S. History to 1877.
