I attended Sacred Heart University in Connecticut for my undergraudate studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in History.  During my time at UKentucky I plan on pursuing a Masters and eventual Doctoral degree focusing primarily on the home-front of the Civil War and 19th century America.  I grew up in Queens, NY and have been a lifeguard for Jones Beach for the past six summers.  My passions are swimming, reading, and of course, the Civil War!
