The University of Kentucky Chellgren Center for Undergraduate Excellence honored its newest class of Chellgren Fellows Sunday, Aug. 23. Five Chellgren Endowed Professorships were also announced. 

The UK Office of Undergraduate Research, along with SPUR (the Society for the Promotion of Undergraduate Research), and the UK Student Government Association, will host the eighth annual Showcase for Undergraduate Scholars.

UK sophomore Nicole Schladt and junior Sarah Smith have received two of Kentucky's six English-Speaking Union Scholarships, which they will use to pursue summer studies at University of Oxford and University of Cambridge respectively.
