From Chemistry to History, UK Education Abroad offers many opportunities for students to earn academic credit outside of the United States. Opportunities include study, research, service and teach abroad programs as well as internships.

First Step Information Sessions
Students who are beginning to explore program options should attend a First Step Information Session. These sessions explain the details to education abroad program types, financial aid and scholarships, credit transfer and equivalencies, and much more.

Advising Center
Education Abroad (EA) Peer Ambassadors are available in the EA Advising Center (315 Bradley Hall) Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (2 p.m. on Fridays). The EA Peer Ambassadors are able to help students through the program exploration and application process.

A&S UK Faculty-Directed Programs
A&S faculty across departments direct UK Faculty-Directed programs abroad. Upon successful completion, students are able to earn UK credits and grades. Many of these UK Faculty-Directed programs are open to any discipline.

Certificate of Global Studies

The Certificate of Global Studies attests to your ability to live and work in a global community. It documents the global issues you have studied in your undergraduate courses, the credit you have earned through education abroad, the second language in which you have learned to communicate, and your internationally-focused activities in the United States.
